EW has worked closely to support a number of our client's M&A and Investment needs. We have participated in a number of Investment assignments which include:
- Successfully preparing firms for sale to qualified Asian and Western investors
- Presenting verified and operationally-sound companies seeking investments to our identified Asian and Western investor base
- Identifying targeted Asian companies for acquisition by Western or other Asian firms
Examples of recent engagements:
- For Asian client, we successfully prepared the company for sale, developed the Prospectus for potential investors and brokered the deal with a qualified Western buyer. Asian company is a manufacturer of ceramic products with 3 offices in China and significant manufacturing/distribution base.
- Identified qualified Asian investors for Western companies seeking capital commitments. Since East West has significant operational experience in Asia, most of the companies which East West is working with to seek capital are Western manufacturing and distribution firms.
- Brokered financial services deal between Western money transfer company (which was entering China) and a Western bank in China.
