Competitive intelligence

CI is a systematic and ethical program for gathering, analyzing and managing data and information concerning the Business Environment in which a company operates. CI reports are tailored to the specific needs of the client but typically can include ownership and organizational structure, governmental relationships, revenue and relevant financial data, information on prior business dealings with Western firms, business structures and the use of 'shell companies', intellectual property infringement issues, particular information on existing executives and owners and business practices.

One primary role of CI is to provide data and information about how a company operates and can confer strategic competitive advantages which affects our client's business decisions. CI research is usually performed on perceived competitors, suppliers, vendors, licenses and proposed partners.

CI can be performed on a project basis or on a frequent and proactive monitoring and reporting of changes in the business environment. These changes provide an early warning for Western clients and can stimulate additional research.
