Victor Alexander Bryant Al Ernest Randy Reavis Chang FuShan Lui Fang Catherine Yang Yamin Afshar Jon Scott Maxwell Chris Fluharty Mark H Ramsey Gary Zhong Catherine Yang Senior Human Resources Director Catherine Yang serves as the Senior Human Resources (H/R) Director for East West and in this capacity, provides H/R services for clients in Asia, including conducting H/R Due Diligence evaluations on acquisition targets, developing/implementing H/R policies for companies operating in China, recruitment of senior level executives, assessment of existing employees and their responsibilities, and implementation of H/R training programs. Catherine has served in senior H/R positions and staff positions with a number of Western multinational companies and Chinese firms, including firms in Anhui Province, Guangdong and Shanghai. As H/R and Administrative Staff for Owens Corning Guangzhou Plant, Catherine had full H/R responsibilities for a 250 employee startup manufacturing operation in China. In this role, she advised the General Manager and senior executives on all H/R related issues, including recruitment strategies and programs, implemented training programs for internal usage and new employee orientation, established performance appraisal systems, wrote the H/R manuals based on new Chinese labor laws, and negotiated labor contracts governing termination and annual leave. As H/R and Administrative staff Owens Corning Shanghai China Plant, Catherine had responsibility for a 300 employee operation. Catherine then moved from the Plant operations to the Owens Corning Corporate office in Shanghai, she served on the H/R and Administrative staff and had responsibility for a number of different divisions, including R&D, Logistics, Global Procurement and Sales and Marketing. She also completed recruitment projects at Chinese universities to fill new hiring needs. Catherine is a graduate of Anhui University, where she majored in English and American Literature. Catherine is fluent in Mandarin and English. She has completed, "Post graduate HR courses", Human Resource Practices, and completed Six Sigma Green Belt training. Catherine is also a Certified Position Evaluator. Ms.Yang and her husband live in Shanghai, Pudong district. |
